Q:
How long do I have to wait to receive the unlock code in my email?

A:
Waiting time varies between 1 minute and up to 6 days depending on the brand of your phone. You can see the approximate waiting time of your order by filling in the form in the homepage. Additionally you can also check the status of your order in the "check order status" section. If you have any questions you can contact us using the "Contact Us" page."
Q:
What happens if the code I received is incorrect?

A:
If the unlock code you received appears to be invalid, then reply to the email and we will assist you as soon as possible. Some of the possible reasons why the unlock code is incorrect are:
- The IMEI number provided is inaccurate
- The original service provider of your phone is incorrect
- The code was entered incorrectly
- The phone is hard locked or out or attempts to insert unlock code.
Q:
Do I get a refund if my unlock code is incorrect?

A:
Yes. Terms and conditions may apply. Please refer to the terms and conditions section located at the footer of the page.
Q:
How do I know if my phone is already unlocked?

A:
You can simply insert a non-accepted sim card into your phone. Power on the phone and if it does not ask for the unlock code then your phone may already be unlocked. You can also try making a call or sending a text message to check if the phone is unlocked.
Q:
What happens if the phone won't ask for the unlock code?

A:
If you don't see the message requesting an unlock code after you insert a non-accepted sim card then your phone is already unlocked. This is a very common mistake people often make. Before purchasing an unlock code we recommend trying the phone with a non-accepted sim card and make sure the phone requests an unlocked.
Q:
Where will I receive the unlock code?

A:
The unlock code will be sent to the email you selected before making the purchase of your unlock code. If no email was requested then you will automatically receive it in the email linked to your paypal account.
Q:
How can I find the IMEI number of my phone?

A:
Dial *#06# and the IMEI number will appear in the screen. Include only the first 15 digits and ignore the dots. Please make sure your IMEI number is 100% correct before placing your order. No refunds can be given if the IMEI number you provided is inaccurate. Additionally you can find the IMEI number on the back of the phone (behind the battery) and in some brands it is also located in the box that came with your phone when it was purchased.
Q:
Will my phone work with all GSM and CDMA carriers?

A:
Your phone will only be compatible with GSM sim cards. Most of the sim cards are GSM. However there are a few service providers that operate under a CDMA network. To avoid any misunderstanding we recommend that you call your new service provider and ask them if their sim cards are GSM or CDMA. You can also send us your question using the Contact Us form.
Q:
How can I unlock my phone for free?

A:
To unlock your phone for free you need to record a video showing the complete process of unlocking your phone using UnlockRiver.com. The video must meet all the specific requirements and if approved you will get a full refund. Please contact us for the exact instructions on this promotion.
Q:
Will my phone get damaged after being unlocked?

A:
